A long time ago HomeworldArchives.com was started by Troff to host the Homeworld: Too comic collection. Over time it also became a place to help the HW community, hosting mods, galleries, artwork, drivers and even paper starships. Alas calamity came when the Great HardDisk was struck by a bad sector and all data was lost. Over time with contributions from the HW community, this new website was started to piece together the missing parts.
To date, a majority of the main comic strip have been retrieved. If any of you happen to have some in your possession, please get in touch and I'll load them into the archives currently located on Steam guides.

Stuff
Fan sites then were troves of drivers, demos, artwork and mods way back before the advent of file-sharing, cloud servers and cheap storage. I'll upload whatever useful files I manage to recover here, and try not to duplicate whatever's already out there.

Prelude to the End Times
A Relic forum-goer called 32bit compiled a nice to read history and backstory of events leading up to HW2. This was done to help those who didn't own one or all of the 3 Homeworld games at that time. It was a rather popular document, garnering a regular download rate on my old site - and also makes for a nice armchair read.

Sierra/Relic Official Fan Site Kit
Made in 2002, this fan site kit was made for the community to streamline HW2, Sierra and Relic materials (e.g. logos, disclaimers etc). Good if you need EPS or hi-res logos of the various entities. Also includes some artwork, screenshots and info to get you going.

A community member forwarded this nicely extracted Somtaaw fonts and layers - perfect for t-shirts or tattoo's. I've been informed we have to thank a Reddit member called SpiritualCup8731 for this.

NOTE: A lot of these 3D files are from the year 2002 and are thus VERY old. Others in the past and recently have extracted or created better hi-res textures and more detailed models.

3D Tanis Test Zip File
This is a test file to download and test the Tanis Shipyard models. The formats in the zip are 3DS, COB, DXF, LWO56, LWO60, OBJ, PEO, VRML2, W3D & XSI. Note that some of the files may not work or the textures are not attached properly, but it should be enough to get you started.

A test page for you to download and test a Hiigaran Assault Corvette (HAC) model in various 3D software formats. Thanks to community members on Facebook, I've received a ton of lost files downloaded from my old site, including nearly 1 Gig of 3D models that I have to sort through.

A wonderfully cute but challenging 2D version of Homeworld, complete with banana-ship, resourcers, enemy Taidans etc. Worth a quick play-through.
